Christmas is almost here and it's going to be a very different one. We're going to continue to spend time outside meeting loved ones and enjoying the festive season. We're planning on wrapping up warm and sharing a festive inspired picnic or two in the many parks and green spaces that Birmingham has to offer. It may be a bit unconventional but we're trying to embrace the new normal. Fingers crossed for good weather! So far we have shared mince pies in the grounds of Shugborough Hall which was really rather lovely.

Christmas at Jack's
We decided to head down to Jack's Supermarket in Castle Bromwich to stock up on some festive treats. Jack's are proud to offer a great range of quality Christmas goodies that won't break the bank.
Festive hamper
There were lots of options to choose from and all at outstanding value. We decided to go for some festive classics in our Christmas picnic including Jack's award winning mince pies (6 for 85p), a Christmas cake bar (£2) and large gingerbread cookies (40p each) which I know will be a big hit with my boys. For us Christmas wouldn't be the same without a turkey so within our Christmas picnic we'll be adding turkey sandwiches and obviously some cranberry sauce on top. Jack's offers a range of delicious, affordable turkeys all of which are a 100% British. For some more savory treats we added 12 pigs in blankets (£1.80) and my all time favourite snack salted cashew nuts (£1.85)
Christmas Presents
Not only do Jack's offer delicious food and drink but they also have a When Its Gone It's Gone aisle filled with Christmas decorations and gifts. New products arrive every Thursday and many of these will be from well recognised brands at great prices. I managed to get a family calendar for 2021 (keeping my fingers crossed I can fill it with exciting days out!), some excellent value Christmas cards and some fabulous Christmas earrings.
Happy Christmas
However you plan to spend the Christmas holidays we wish you a very happy and safe one. Happy Christmas from Family Fun in Brum x
