We've never taken our twos boys to the circus, so today was a real treat.  As soon as I told them where we were off to their first question was "would it be like the Greatest Showman?!"  I had no idea what to expect so I made a non committal noise which could have been interpreted as a yes or a no! 

 

Like the Greatest Showman their was singing, dancing, fire breathing and juggling.  Obviously it wasn't quite on a par with a Hollywood blockbuster but it was a fantastic affordable evening out.  There were many highlights.  One included what could only be described as a human double hamster wheel with two daredevil men running on the wheels, sometimes blindfolded or skipping with a rope.  Another was a giant metal ball with two women stood in the middle and motorbikes racing around them.  Terrifying/amazing to watch! The final highlight was the clown who made my five year old son hysterical with laughter and me a bit weepy to see him so happy.
