Where? Sarehole Mill Cole Bank Rd, Birmingham B13 0BD

Top 3 reasons to visit:

1) The mill has lots of lovely green areas around it. There is a little walk around the lake with lots of wildlife. There is also a playing field next to car park.

 
2) If you go on a Wednesday or Sunday there may be a miller there actually milling flour (ring in advance as this is subject to change) 

3) There are interactive displays to use (a big favourite of my boys was the dressing up box) and lots of little nooks and crannies to explore. 

Things to be aware of: * There are lots of lots of steep staircases so it's worth bearing in mind if you're coming with a pushchair or a little one who has just learnt to walk.
