We were really excited to be invited to 'Tasty Plaice' to try out their menu.  They are a Birmingham family run business and have only been open for 3 months.  They have a number of restaurants throughout the Midlands, today we visited them in Grand central.   There  serve fish and chips but there are other options such as sausages and deep fried halloumi.

1) The menu is really reasonable.  Fish and chips are £6.79 and kids menu £3.79.

2)  The food was really tasty.  The chips were a big hit with us all.  Apparently they are deep fried and battered.  Probably not something you'd want to eat everyday but a delicious treat!!

3) Kids were well catered for.  The menu was simple and served in a novelty box which always goes down well with my boys!  There were also highchairs available.

4) The staff were friendly and helpful.
