There were lovely walks to do around the lake and boat rides to go on but we didn't get round to doing any of this as the boys absolutely loved the playground.  There were swings, a pirate ship, slides and climbing frames.  There is a sandpit in the middle with digger arms that children can use to dig up the sand.  There was also a racing track with little cars for preschoolers to peddle around on.  After they had spent a number of hours exploring the playground we went on a barefoot walk.  This is a trail made up of lots of different textures and materials.  A big hit was the mud path!  At the end of the trail we were all covered in mud but don't panic as there was a brilliant area to clean off in.  There were taps to wash your feet in, soap and foot (hand) dryers.
